Yesterday Brad Hachez posted his own review on Media Center Edition 2005. Initially he was a little surprised to find out that MCE came bundled on laptops, but he soon realized that there was more it than just watching TV.

The review itself is actually a fair size and it has a good overview of some of the features included in with Media Center Edition. He goes on to show that it is more than just a place to watch videos – it can also be used for photos, music and radio.

Once this site gets off and running, I will probably do a spotlight post on MCE. But until then, this post is a good primer for those interested in Microsoft’s PVR solution.
